Multi-Church Study “Be the Bridge”
A new class will begin Tuesday, April 6, 2021. The Tuesday evening classes will be from 7:00-8:15 p.m. for nine weeks. The class will study Latasha Morrison’s book Be the Bridge: Pursuing God’s Heart for Racial Reconciliation. You are invited to join in honest conversations with others to form a response to racism and racial division that is grounded in the Christian faith. In her book, Morrison examines the historical complexities of racism, and then uses biblical principles such as lamentation, confession, and forgiveness to structure the journey toward restoration and healing. Members of the Stonehouse, Carver Memorial, and Hilton churches, as well as members of PEVA’s Racial Dialogue Team, will participate with us. Please use this Signup Genius link. You will receive a Zoom invitation by email for each class. Books can be purchased from Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, and Christianbook.com to name a few. If you prefer that the church orders a book for you, please contact the church office.
